Hi! I am Sara Venturini. I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the MIT Senseable City Lab. I am interested in everything concerning networks!

I’ll be a PostDoc researcher at MIT Senseable City Lab!

I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be a PostDoc researcher at MIT Senseable City Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, mentored by Carlo Ratti and Paolo Santi!

It hasn’t been an easy choice, because I really want to collaborate with many researchers in many different applications of complex networks! Thank you to all my collaborators who have made me grow and given me these wonderful opportunities.

The increasing availability of digital data of this century offers unprecedented opportunities to model and analyse social systems and interactions. The Senseable City Lab would give me the opportunity to use my experiences and capacities to study human behavior in cities all over the world, and not just for the sake of knowledge, but with the aim of improving urban life.

I am sure that I will take the best from the top universities and researchers in the Boston area!

A new Postdoctoral Fellow

Super excited to start this new experience as a postdoctoral fellow at the MIT Senseable City Lab in Cambridge, Boston! I am sure that this will be an amazing opportunity for me since I truly believe in interdisciplinary research.

I earned a PhD in Mathematics!

I still can not believe that I earned a PhD in Mathematics! I have learned a lot from this journey and I have been very lucky to meet incredible people along it!

ICML Grant

Super-happy that I was awarded the ICML grant for registration and accommodation, which covers free conference registration and free 5 nights stay to attend the Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) 2023 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
